An urban hospitality hub shaped by identity and program intensity.
SOWN Jakarta is a 4-floor guesthouse designed as a hybrid living and social environment within the density of the city. The project integrates undercroft parking, a café, coworking space, five types of bedrooms, a padel court, gym, and yoga shala into a cohesive vertical composition.
The architectural direction draws from Jakarta’s colonial heritage, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens aligned with SOWN’s branding. Proportions, rhythm, and façade articulation reflect classical references, while material selection and detailing are refined to feel current and adaptable.
The planning strategy prioritizes flow and layering of functions, ensuring that public, semi-public, and private zones operate efficiently without conflict. Each component supports a lifestyle-driven experience rather than a conventional guesthouse model.
The result is a distinctive, market-aware development that merges heritage influence with modern urban living, creating a strong identity both spatially and commercially.
